Demi-Precentor Christopher Knight was a MechWarrior with the Com Guards from at least 3039 to 3068.[1]

Knight attracted attention for his defeat of three pirates on Poulsbo at the controls of his Guillotine BattleMech, his attempts to deflect questions to his unusually high level of training and experience by insisting he was a recent graduate of the Sandhurst Royal Military College did not convince the representatives of the Armed Forces of the Federated Commonwealth.[1]
He continued to serve with the Com Guards until 3068, when he participated in ComStar's Case White invasion of Terra, where he was killed. Knight apparently had an insurance policy which covered this eventuality, the payout assisting his son Christopher Knight Jr. to acquire his own 'Mech.[2]
