Conqueror Worms

The conqueror worms are a species of arthropods native to the world of Mankova.

Description

This species of invertebrates inhabits the dense jungles of Mankova. While their natural food source is unknown, they have developed a taste for the metal components common in most human communities. By some accounts from the last years of the Star League, these creatures rendered more BattleMechs and Combat Vehicles inoperable than pirate raids or civil unrest due to their diet and secreted acid. Since the creatures are of small size, the damage they do is hard to detect until catastrophic damage has already occurred.
