The Crossbow SRM is a weapon that featured exclusively in the MechAssault series of videogames. Not much is known about it, but it is a reasonable assumption that the Crossbow is merely just a model or brand of SRM launcher, and the Javelin LRM might be the same case, being not in fact a unique weapon, but merely a model or brand of LRM launcher.

The Crossbow SRM is a weapon that featured exclusively in the MechAssault series of videogames. Crossbows are the standard short-range missile used by most of the BattleMechs in this series. BattleMechs may have up to 4 Crossbows in their arsenal. Unlike their long-range counterpart (Javelin LRM), these missiles reload and fire rapidly while doing less damage per missile. It is worth noting that these missiles can be upgraded to fire a 2x or 3x volley per shot, which increases their usefulness over the Javelin LRM at close range.

Until the Crossbow SRM or Javelin LRM appear in another source which clarifies this, none of the information presently available is useful for anything beyond vague speculation and deduction.
