Star Colonel Dane Jorgensson was the commanding officer of the Fourteenth Battle Cluster, and Bloodnamed warrior of the Jorgensson Bloodhouse, from 3050 to 3067.[1][2]

He led his unit in the conquest of Kaesong, a planet was conquered by Clan Ghost Bear in December 3051 as part of the fifth wave of the renewed Clan Invasion. Prior to the Ghost Bear's attack the Blue Lightning mercenary company was in-system but their JumpShip experienced technical difficulties, stranding them on the planet; when the planetary government pleaded with them to come to their aid, the mercenaries had little choice. This caused more harm than good though as, knowing they faced dezgra mercenaries, Star Colonel Dane Jorgensson skipped the bidding process entirely and sent in the elite Trinary Command of his Fourteenth Battle Cluster to hunt the enemy down. They pursued Blue Lightning to the streets of Vedsan and destroyed the mercenaries utterly.[3]
Jorgensson's experience with mercenaries, caused him to lead the charge for all such opponents to be formally declared dezgra by the Ghost Bears, which they subsequently did.[4]
Philosophical and/or political views[edit]
Following the Truce of Tukayyid, Jorgensson was one of the few remaining believers in the Crusaders ideology within Clan Ghost Bear, which resulted in the Fourteenth Battle Cluster's loyalty being considered suspect by the Bear Khans.[4]
