ProfessionArmor commander

Daneel "Blackwolf" Wolf was an armor commander with the Steel Wolves' Wolfkin Keshik during the Dark Age.[2][1]

Physical Appearance[edit]

Wolf had dark brown hair and hazel eyes.[2]

History[edit]

Daneel was a member of the Wolfkin Keshik. He and fellow tankers were a minority on this unit, and were often unappreciated by some of their Keshik mates, who were of a more traditionalist Clan bent. These MechWarriors were smart enough to recognize Daneel's importance to their unit, but their hearts still remembered a different time when true warriors were exclusively MechWarriors, which caused tension and occasionally provoked outright fights.

Daneel sought to stand tall regardless, proud of who he was and fully aware of the importance he played every time the Wolfkin Keshik entered combat. His quiet pride and dignity has won him many admirers among the Keshik, and slowly begun to change the prevailing prejudices. It also helped that his combat ability on the field outshone even some of the MechWarriors.[2]

In December 3132, Daneel was tasked by Steel Wolf leader Kal Radick with claiming control of the Clan Wolf Malenky Katyusha Enclave, on the Republic of the Sphere world of Sheratan. Shortly after he managed to wrest control of the Enclave from its existing leadership, Daneel was however interrupted by Ghost Knight Mason Dunne, in command of a detachment from the IV Principes Guards. Despite immediately attacking the Republic Armed Forces unit, Daneel was defeated by Dunne, ending the short term threat to the Republic from the Wolves on Sheratan.[1][3]

Combat Vehicle[edit]

Daneel piloted a JES I Tactical Missile Carrier, serial number SW383-05WV, which he won in a Trial of Possession. Wolf named the JES I Blackwolf, reflecting his own nickname.[2]
