History
Sawyer was conquered by Clan Smoke Jaguar in May 3050 as part the Second Wave of Operation Revival over the course of two days, involving Supernova Battle of the 225th Jaguar Battle Cluster and the mercenary company Dark Horns. The first day of battle was spent by the Elementals of Alpha Nova hunting for the mercenaries, who had dug in at the Posit Woods east of the capital. When they discovered them early on the second day the Elementals succeeded in driving the mercenaries out of the lightly wooded area and straight into the waiting guns of the Supernova's OmniMechs.[1]

- No logo was ever designed for the unit
- The unit was only described in Invading Clans Sourcebook
- It is not explained why a Mercenary unit was defending a kuritan planet with the "Death to Mercenaries" order by Takashi Kurita. It could be that they have been contracted by the operating enterprise, but this is not confirmed. Operating so near of the Periphery, they could have been contract for a anti-piracy raid.[citation needed]
