Galaxy Commander Denise Mehta was the commander of Omega Galaxy, and Bloodnamed warrior of the Mehta Bloodhouse, from at least 3145 to 3151.[1][2]

History[edit]

Fatima[edit]

Mehta led Omega Galaxy from the Fatima based Fourth Falcon Striker Cluster as of 3145.[1]

Battle of Terra[edit]

Mehta remained in command of this Galaxy during the Battle of Terra in 3151, participating in Clan Jade Falcon's South American campaign. On day T+67 of the Battle, Mehta and Omega were sent to take Redoubt Panama, which was defended by Knight Kristoff Erbe, and the XI Hastati Sentinels. Initially attempting a Mongol Doctrine blitzkrieg, Mehta's assault quickly devolved into a stalemate, with an attritional siege continuing until day T+72.

Losing patience, at that time Khan Malvina Hazen ordered Galaxy Commander Mehta to either personally lead the next attack on the Redoubt, or be executed with her command staff for treason. In response Mehta lead the Fourth Falcon Strikers against the RAF defenders the following day, with aerospace fighter support, which was sufficient to force the Hastati back into Panama City. Despite increasing losses, Mehta continued to push the Republic forces back, approaching the Panama Canal itself. Eventually capturing the key shipping route, after heavy fighting which killed RAF Colonel Sven Gustavsson and destroyed most of his 1040th Infantry Brigade, Mehta then forced Sir Erbe to retreat northwards into Mexico.

Catching up with Erbe's survivors near the Yucatán Peninsula on day T+81, Mehta was able to surround the remaining Republic units, causing Sir Erbe to challenge Mehta to single combat. However, after visibly hesitating in response to the challenge, Mehta and her entire Command Star opened fire on Erbe without agreeing to terms.[2]

BattleMech[edit]

Mehta was known to have piloted a Shrike BattleMech.[2]
