The Desolate Plains system was home to at least one habitable world or construct and as at 2750 was located in the Taygeta Operational Area of the Capellan March within the Federated Suns.[1]

System Description

The Desolate Plains system is located near the Brockway and Lindsay systems.[1]

System History

The Desolate Plains system was either colonised by the Taurian Concordat at some point during or shortly before the Age of War or was an already-inhabited system that became significant enough during this era for Inner Sphere nations to begin recording its location on maps.[2][3][4] Desolate Plains vanished from maps during the First Succession War,[3][5] indicating that the system had been abandoned, depopulated or rendered too insignificant to merit further recording.

Notes

Desolate Plains doesn't appear on the post-Reunification War map of the Inner Sphere presented in Historical: Reunification War. It was noted by the map editor in the official Catalyst Game Labs forum that this was an error.
