The Deidre's Den system is the location of at least one inhabited world or construct and as at 3145 was an independent system located in the Periphery close to the border between the Free Worlds League and Lyran Commonwealth.[1][2]

System Description

The Deidre's Den system is located near the Green Stone and Helbrent systems.[3][4]

System History

The Deidre's Den system was either settled at some point during the Star League era ater the end of the Reunification War, or was an already-inhabited system that became significant enough during this period for Inner Sphere nations to begin recording it on maps.[5][3][4] Until the Third Succession War the Deidre's Den system was known by the name Iolas, and was a member of the Rim Worlds Republic prior to the Republic's collapse as an interstellar polity.[3][4] Iolas was either depopulated, abandoned or rendered too insignificant to merit recording on maps during the Second Succession War,[6][7][8][9][10] but reappeared on maps as dring the Third Succession War as a part of the bandit kingdom known as the Circinus Federation.[11][12][13]

It was confirmed that Iolas and Diedre's Den were one and the same by the Catalyst Game Labs writing staff. A transcript of the details is available on this article's Talk page.
