Earl Crowhurst was a freelance mercenary MechWarrior, associated with the Hansen's Roughriders, during the Dark Age Era.[1]

Crowhurst had only ever piloted one 'Mech, which was a Quad, and thus excelled with such four legged machines. This included an ability to walk over Combat Vehicle units without crushing them, which he did so often friendly armor which hadn't worked with him before, had to be warned ahead of time so they were not startled.
He generally worked on a freelance basis, but perhaps due to the lack of opportunities in the area of the Republic of the Sphere he was located, he later accepted a position with the Roughriders.[1]
BattleMech[edit]
Crowhurst was known to have piloted a TFX-C4-M Thunder Fox BattleMech, nicknamed "Twinkletoes".[1]
