Endo Steel

Endo Steel is a type of steel, which may be used in the "skeleton" of a Battlemech or OmniMech. It has the property of being lighter than the normal skeleton but also weaker. In order to reach the strength of a normal "bone" they are made thicker; making MechWarrior_%28pilot%29 choose between extra structural strength and better armament. This size to weight tradeoff transfers over to armor too with ferro-fiberous armor.
