Previously known as the Second Lum Garrison Galaxy, the Galaxy was transferred to Hellgate once the Ravens gained back control of that planet.[1]

History

Previously stationed on Lum, the Galaxy was transferred to Hellgate once the Ravens gained back control of that planet. During their time garrisoning the system, they repelled attacks from Clan Steel Viper and Clan Jade Falcon. These conflicts inflicted heavy damage on two Raven WarShips.[1]

When the Steel Vipers assaulted Lum in 3065, Epsilon Garrison Galaxy nearly mutinied to get back to Lum and defend it. The unit instead remained at its duty station.[2]

In March 3070 units from Clan Coyote, Clan Star Adder and Clan Steel Viper assaulted Hellgate. By the end of the month the Ravens had been reduced to a single enclave on the planet and had lost three quarters of their forces.[3] Fighting continued for months after and in May 3072 the last of the Ravens pulled out of Hellgate.[4]

The Remnant of Epsilon was presumably on the DropShips of the Raven fleet that left Hellgate and fled along the Raven Road. A combined fleet of warships from Clans Steel Viper and Star Adder followed the Ravens catching them at Ghent they almost totally wiped the Raven fleet out. Only sixteen of the 109 JumpShips survived the slaughter. This event appears to be the final end of Epsilon Galaxy.[5]

Officers

As of 3061 the commanding officer was Galaxy Commander Ramon McKenna.[1] In 3064 he suffered a serious injury in a training accident, and Galaxy Commander Nevris McKenna took his place between 3064 and 3067.[2]

Tactics

The extensive training between the AeroSpace and Ground forces of the Galaxy allow the soldiers to fight in a variety of engagements. Their integration rivals that of front-line Galaxies.[1]
