Overview
The Extended Range Support Laser is an infantry support weapon equivalent to the vehicular ER Small Laser. Being the originators of Extended Range Laser technology, the Clans were the first to field this weapon, which was significantly superior to standard support laser systems. Following the Clan Invasion, engineers of the Free Worlds League managed to produce their own ER Support Laser, albeit an inferior model. This Inner Sphere variant has slightly less range than the Clan one but more importantly is far less energy efficient.[1]
