The Feltre system was the location of at least one habitable world or construct and as at 3145 was a part of the Clan Hell's Horses Occupation Zone.[1][2]

System Description

The Feltre system is located near the Hohenems and Liezen systems.[1][2]

System History

Feltre was colonised by the Lyran Commonwealth during the Star League era at some point after the end of the Reunification War.[3][4]

Fourth Succession War

In mid-3029, following several months of consolidation in the aftermath of Operation GÖTTERDÄMMERUNG, the Lyran Commonwealth went on the offensive again in the Trellshire and Tamar theatres of operation. While a large part of the Lyran Commonwealth Armed Forces' attention went into trying to win ongoing conflicts on a handful of worlds, seven new planetary assaults were launched. Feltre, defended only by militia units, was one of the seven worlds targeted and was swiftly conquered.[48]

Clan Invasion

Feltre was conquered by Clan Wolf during Operation REVIVAL as part of their Third Wave of attacks in July 3050. The Sixteenth Battle Cluster deployed the Supernova Second and Trinary Fighter units to conquer the world, where they were "officially" opposed only by the Feltre Freeman Division. Unknown to the Wolves, the defenders were aided by the Plum Wall, a branch of the Todai Yakuza. Each time Clan Wolf attempted to deliver the killing blow to the Freemen, at Cuchican, Vasidan, Arrivosh and Pissanin, the yakuza would swoop in to resupply or rescue the Freeman Division. Complete control of the planet was finally achieved when Clan Wolf brought in second-line garrison forces to occupy Feltre's major cities and towns.[49]

Jihad

Feltre was the subject of a second invasion between April and August 3071 when forces from Clan Hell's Horses invaded the Clan Wolf occupation zone in the Inner Sphere, attempting to annex planets to form their own holding in Spheroid space.[36] As the Hell's Horses campaign began to stall, Clan Wolf launched a series of counterattacks; Feltre was targeted by Clan Wolf in October, and Wolf forces had retaken the world by the 14th of November.[36][37][38] Between the 14th and 31st of January 3072 the Wolves forced the last of the Hell's Horses off Feltre.[37][39]
