Overview
Fortified Brian Walls were manmade defensive walls built for use by Castles Brian. Though famous for the use of natural terrain in their fortifications, Castles Brian also used these fortified walls to supplement those features in order to protect vital objectives. Each section of these walls were self-contained structures in their own right, which could be sealed off and continue to function as defensive bunkers, and extended one level underground for additional storage and access to other parts of the complex. While well-armed these walls were focused on area denial or impeding the advance of hostile forces, rather than confronting the enemy as true fortified bunkers.[1]
