Gary Weinrib rose to the rank of commanding officer of the 1st Capellan Defense Force. He commanded the unit at two different moments of his life in 3063[1] and 3085.[2]
He was one of the few survivors of the Sarna attack and winner of the Liao Sunburst of Gallantry.[1]
