The Gorgon system was home to at least one habitable world and as of 2750 was located in the Timbuktu Province of the Rim Worlds Republic.[1][2]

System Description

The Gorgon system is located near the Findal and Jardangal systems.[1][2]

System History

Gorgon was a part of the Timbuktu Province of the Rim Worlds Republic and is located near Jardangal and Findal. Gorgon vanished from maps during the Second Succession War,[3][4] indicating that the system had become too sparsely populated or insignificant to merit further recording on maps.

Planetary History

During the twenty-sixth century, Gorgon received survivors from the planet Lynn's World.[26]

Although Gorgon was too insignificant to merit being recorded on maps, the planet remained inhabited throughout the Succession Wars. With a population of some two hundred and fifty thousand people in 3075, the planet was ruled by Supreme Emperor Greg Kijas; Kijas was the owner of a Quasit MilitiaMech that he used to defend the population against pirates, although it's unclear if the planet received much if any attention from pirates, as its only contribution to interstellar trade, politics or conflict was a single shipment of Gorgon's Breath spice per year, and it was considered beneath the notice of the vast majority of pirates.[26]
