Gregory "TheVede" Vederman was a MechWarrior, who served within the Confederation Reserve Cavalry, during the Dark Age Era.[1]
Personal Appearance[edit]
Vederman had brown hair and brown eyes.[1]
History[edit]
While a student at the Sarna Martial Academy, Vederman was inspired by the history of the Sixth Confederation Reserve Cavalry's Arcade Rangers, who were formed during the Capellan-St. Ives War by students. Just like the Rangers, whose success was credited to computer simulator time rather than real military experience, "TheVede" also decided to devote his efforts to wracking up impressive simulator time.
His enthusiasms extended to rigging up with own 'Mech with a small video simulator system, which he used while off-duty, despite it occasionally causing his Targeting Computer to malfunction during real operations. While such tampering with State-owned property came at the risk of attracting Maskirovka, his skill as a MechWarrior had been sufficient as of 3133 to keep them at bay, leaving him as a member of a Confederation Command Lance under CO Aurora Gregory.[1][2]
BattleMech[edit]
Vederman was known to have piloted a Mad Cat II BattleMech, serial number SF203-00Z. Initially the possession of Clan Sea Fox, it was seized by Capellan forces during a dispute with Sea Fox merchants on Ingersoll, and not returned despite the conflict being deemed a misunderstanding by both Capellan and Sea Fox authorities.[1]
