Template:InfoBoxMercUnit Gustafson's Grenadiers were a mercenary unit in the employ of the Federated Commonwealth as of 3057 and stationed on Caph. When Operation Guerrero was launched, they were just in the process of fighting training exercises against the Denebola Freedom Theater Militia (incidentially leaving Denebola defenseless). The Grenadiers sided with the FedCom in the brewing FedCom Civil War, the Denebola FTM sided with the Lyran Alliance, and other factions on Caph sided with the Draconis Combine, Free Worlds League, and Capellan Confederation, with no side in overall control.[1]
