Description
Recoilless rifles date to pre-spaceflight Terra. They use a high-explosive charge to fire an anti-armor shell. It was the Capellan Confederation that first adapted them to use on battle armor during the Capellan-St. Ives War. Recoilless rifles are still used by infantry forces across human-occupied space.[3]
The Heavy Recoilless Rifle is the largest and most damaging class of recoilless rifles.
