Description

The Hector Road Train is a civilian Wheeled Support Vehicle that was used in Free Worlds League in the later part of Age of War era,. Designed for colony and underdeveloped worlds, the Hector was intended as a substitute for rail service.

Built on a heavy wheeled tractor chassis, the massive vehicle is capable of towing up 150 tons of cargo. It's powered by a inexpensive Internal Combustion Engine with 18 tons of fuel, this setup allows the Hector move it's various cargo over 2,500 kilometers before needing to be refueled. The vehicle only has three man crew, which take turns driving the vehicle during long hauls. Accommodations for the crew include small kitchenette and bathroom.

The vehicle has 1-ton worth of Communication Equipment and trailer hitch to pull any modules.

The Tractor has a small 12 ton Cargo Bay with a access door to the rear of the vehicle.[3]

Notes

The Hector Road Train was originally created with older support vehicle creation rules found in Combat Equipment. Equipment Rating and some equipment listed in this article are dated due to lack of updated record sheets and battle value for the vehicle and modules. IR Camera for example does not exist in the Total Warfare. As of this writing, Hector Road Train Tractor/Trailer lack battle value 2 or not have been updated Total Warfare rules. Record Sheets created for this vehicle may only currently be found Handbook: House Marik.
