Unit Description

I Corps was a Taurian Defense Force Brigade sized Military Formation originally assigned to the defense of the Taurian Concordat's border with the Capellan Confederation and later assigned to New Vandenberg. The brigade consists of three regiments of various sizes.[1]

The Taurian Defense Force expanded I Corps duties to cover the new settlements created by the formation of the New Colony Region and later to fulfill the Taurian responsibilities to the Trinity Alliance.

History

For decades the brigade saw no great variation, but this changed in the 31st Century. Since the ratification of the Trinity Alliance the composition of the regiments has varied significantly. The originaly two Taurian commands and one mercanery unit were the core of the formation. But the loses suffered during the Chaos March campaign and through the St. Ives Compact war was too much for the Concordat Jaegers. The command was merged with the Velites of the Taurian Guard Corps to bring them back to full strength. [2]

Officers

The commander of the I Corps in 3025 was Marshal Cory Calderon (relationship to the Protector unknown).

The Commander of the I Corps in 3064 up to 3067 is Marshal Kai Shoguwa, his aide is Comptroller Adam Meisner.[3][4]

Tactics

Each regiment of I Corps has their own unique tactics/statagies.

Composition

3025 to 3067
