During the Fourth Succession War the Commonwealth finally took the world, along with several others, forming the Lyons Thumb. The Combine recaptured the world during the FedCom Civil War.
The Word of Blake used a combination of Blakist forces and mercenaries to attack and conquer Imbross III during the first half of March 3069, incorporating it into the Word of Blake Protectorate.[9] Imbros III was then attacked by Clan Wolf in late January 3077, despite the world not being an objective for Operation SCOUR;[10] although Imbros was finally free, the Coalition forces discovered that most of the world's industry had been destroyed. The relocation directives enacted by the Republic of the Sphere, combined with capital to rebuild the factories helped the planet recover.[1]
