The FCS Invincible was the first-of-class vessel of the Fox-class of corvettes and the first WarShip to be constructed by the Federated Commonwealth.

The Invincible was due to enter service for trials in 3057 after a sixteen month delay caused by problems in obtaining engine parts from ComStar, but the Invincible's launch was further delayed until at least 3058 by the terrorist Timothy Barnes's attack on the shipyards at Galax.[1]
While several Fox-class corvettes were in service by 3062, such as the FCS Indomitable and FCS Indefatigable, the Invincible was not among their number.[2][3] Either the ship had been lost at some point in the intervening years, or the difficulties surrounding its launch had resulted in the Invincible launch being scrubbed.
