Jason Yasbek, known as Equalizer, was a MechWarrior fighting in team fights on Solaris.[1]

History & Tactics

Jason Yasbek was part of Team Mavericks, a known team used to fight in the Big Five Arenas.

He had been fighting for them for a while when a fight was scheduled against the up-and-coming Team Bad Bloods. The fight was in the Steiner Stadium with fully sold seats and with local coverage. The fight ended scheduled on 26 May 3027, same day as the famous Phillip Capet vs Justin Xiang match at Ishiyama, that ended with nearly nobody finally coming to the match.

As per the fight, Team Bad Bloods won. Bart Marston started the fight by decapitating his companion Horiro Tanaka in his Panther (killing him) while he was able to down Angela Marston in her Jenner.[2] . Both fighters found themselves in the center of the arena and started exchanging fire. Bart Marston was finally able to down Jason.

Jason Yasbek whereabouts after that fight are unknown, but his team was not dissolved, so it can be considered that he continued fighting for it for some time.[citation needed]

Twenty-Five years later, on 3052, an interview with Bart Marston was published as part of Hard Luck Stories of Solaris VII, Volumen Ten explaining their experiences on that match and pointed that her sister Angela Marston was already dead at that time.[1]
