Jureck's Jaegers were a "minor" mercenary unit of unspecified size and composition. In 3035 they were operating on the Outworlds Alliance world of Risin. Following the find of a lostech cache on the planet, the outlaw mercenary band Blades of Death savaged the Jaegers, killed the unit's officrs, enslaved the surviving members of the Jaegers and stole the lostech cache. One Jureck's Jaegers MechWarrior who was captured in this way was Woodrow Ethan Allen, who would go on to escape, obtain BattleMechs, and form the Green Mountain Boys in 3039.[1]
