History[edit]

Operation REVIVAL[edit]

The Galaxy was stationed in the Inner Sphere after the Truce of Tukayyid; in 3054 the various Clusters of Kappa Galaxy were responsible for garrisoning the Bangor, Hanover, Luzerne, Savinsville and Stapelfeld systems.[1][2] Its headquarters were on Luzerne in 3059, and Kappa Galaxy had been building up the military infrastructure on the planet as a staging area for planned strikes against the Clan Ghost Bear Occupation Zone.[3]

Operation Bulldog[edit]

The assault struck first at Luzerne in the second wave of attacks, with the Galaxy Command Trinary and Fourth Garrison Cluster engaged in a series of sieges on Luzerne that lasted into the third wave in August 3059. Also attacked during wave two was the Seventeenth Garrison Cluster that managed to escape from Hanover having taken some losses. The Seventeenth were followed as they retreated to Coudoux, but once again managed to escape off world. The Fifty-first Garrison Cluster was also attacked on Bangor, taking minor casualties and escaping off-world. During the fourth and final wave of Bulldog, both the Third and Nineteenth Garrison Clusters took heavy damage, on Savinsville and Stapelfeld respectively, before the surviving elements of the two Clusters surrendered to the attacking forces.[3]

Wave Two[edit]

Wave Three[edit]

Wave Four[edit]

  • Savinsville - September 3059, Third Garrison Cluster
  • Stapelfeld - September 3059, Nineteenth Garrison Cluster

The Galaxy made a partial escape from the Inner Sphere during the third wave of Operation Bulldog. Elements of the Seventeenth Garrison Cluster formed part of Hang Mehta's forces on Huntress in 3060.[2]
