Leutnant Ken Roos was a MechWarrior, who served within the Stormhammers' Tharkan Strikers, during the Dark Age Era.[1]

History[edit]
Lupine Striker Lance[edit]
A social climber in the model of a traditional Lyran Social General, Roos attempted to advance as fast as he possibly could within the Stormhammers, based on his social connections rather than military skill. While this approach was sufficient to obtain Roos a MechWarrior's slot in the Lupine Striker Lance as of 3132 under the command of Luella McCormick, it failed to help him advance any further, due to the hatred of such wasteful politicking by Tharkan Strikers CO Alexia Wolf.
Roos however continued to seek to painstakingly cultivate friends within the Stormhammers, while trying to keep to the rear giving commands while in combat.[1][3]
Battle of Towne[edit]
With the Lupine Striker Lance, Roos participated in the August 3133 Battle of Towne, when the Lyran Rangers attempted to seize Towne's working HPG in the city of Port Howard. Assigned by Kommandant Tamara Duke to lead the team tasked with capturing the HPG itself, Roos was initially successful, though ultimately forced to retreat when the worlds defenders counter-attacked.[4][2]
BattleMech[edit]
Roos was known to have piloted a Warhammer IIC BattleMech, serial number JF1561-56K, nicknamed "Skuld". Initially constructed by Clan Jade Falcon before the Word of Blake Jihad, this 'Mech was captured by Clan Wolf-in-Exile during a raid. It subsequently was used by the Warden Wolves during the liberation of Skye as part of Stone's Coalition, and was brought into the Republic of the Sphere by its MechWarrior, who joined Devlin Stone's experiment.[1]
