A freelance mercenary, Brice specialized in jobs which required an Assault 'Mech to be defeated, which she both enjoyed and profited from. As rumors spread of superheavy 'Mechs during the Dark Age, Lena received more job offers than she could handle, letting her pick and choose her employers.[1]

Lena Brice was known to have piloted a XNS-11-A Xanthos BattleMech, nicknamed Kingslayer.[1]
