History

The LAS Linz was a Monolith-class JumpShip in service to the Lyran Alliance. As of 27 October 3067 it was operating at the planetoid Phobos near Gienah, obviously involved in the botched hijacking of the Free Worlds League Assault DropShip Requirement.

The Linz was noted to have a fearsome reputation as a "mercenary JumpShip" (though it had a Lyran Alliance registry), with hundreds of kills from its associated DropShips and 'Mechs and a fanatically loyal crew of "terrifying fighters". It answered to one Lord Rayner.[1]
