Logistical Augmentation Program

The Logistical Augmentation Program, or LAP, was a supply program initiated by Khan Ulric Kerensky during Operation REVIVAL.[1]

History[edit]

As the Clan Invasion proceeded into the Inner Sphere, the Clans as a whole began having supply issues due to the length of their supply lines back to the Clan Homeworlds. Efforts were made to increase the flow of supplies from the Homeworlds, but the need was greater than the ability to supply.[1]

To help combat this shortfall, Khan Ulric Kerensky would implement the Logistical Augmentation Program or LAP. This was the official name given to large scale scrounging efforts across the recently conquered worlds in the Occupation Zones. While the Inner Sphere worlds could not provide the technical parts and expertise to replace Clan equipment, items such of food, clothing and low-tech vehicles could be procured. Soon it was a common sight for Clan Warriors to be using locally produced products openly despite some warriors complaining about using "corrupted" Inner Sphere materials.[1]

The program was created in a way to avoid planetary scale looting. Owners of the supplies appropriate where paid in Clan credits for goods of equal or greater value once they were available from the Clan Homeworlds. The first step in helping to integrate the new populations into Clan society. The success of program for Clan Wolf would soon see the other Clans implement similar endeavors. [1]
