Planetary History

FedCom Civil War

Following the decision by Caesar Sean O'Reilly to align the Marian Hegemony with the Word of Blake in late-3061, it was announced that the worlds of Pompey and Lothario would each gain HPG stations, with construction starting in the last week of December.[34]

The Jihad

Lothario was in a state of deep unrest during the Jihad, and the planetary HPG was destroyed along with other elements of the planetary infrastructure. By 3079 outside observers had come ot beleive that it would only be a matter of time before Lothario threw off Marian rule and recreated the Lothian League. At this point in time the fur industry was the most significant part of the planetary economy, benefitting from the large number of species from Terra that had been introduced onto the world.[4]

Geography

The planet Lothario has four continents named Anzac, where the capital city is located, Calafate, Furtwängler and Siegfried. An icy, harsh world, Lothario was home to a number of dangerous species including predators that were born at the same size as an adult Terran polar bear.[4]

Planetary Locations

  • Vatnajökull: the planetary capital city, located on Anzac.[4]
