Description

The Magi was created by Killosh Industries in response to SLDF's needs for better infantry support vehicle to handle increasing unrest in the Periphery Territories.

The vehicle creation was temporary shadowed by scandal by a officer in Quartermaster Command and winning company's ceo. However, the vehicle preformance put doubt about vehicle ablities aside. The vehicle was put into production in 2727. However, Killosh's sales of the faultered prior to fall of the League and went into bankruptcy.

The vehicle put into service SLDF Mechanized Infantry Divisions serving in Periphery, where it heavy armor and good performance worked well. However, it did not fair as well during General Kerensky's war to liberate Terran Hegemony from Stephan Amaris and his Rims World Army.

The vehicle faded from use and memory during the Succession Wars era. It later found service again in 31st Century with ComStar's Com Guard in fighting on Tukayyid. The vehicle was highly successful in the Guard's combined arms doctrine. Many of the vehicles found their way into hands of the Word of Blake, were put into service for Protectorate Militias. The vehicle was updated to help with those Militias's urban policing on many of the Word of Blake Protectorate's worlds.

Armament

The Magi is armed with three Medium Lasers, mounted in front, and both sides of the vehicle. The Magi is noted for not having a turret, giving it a unusal profile. The vehicle's anti-infantry capacities include pair of Machine Guns mounted in front. The Tank's 2 tons of machine gun ammunition is protected by CASE. The vehicle has 9.5 tons of Ferro-Fibrous armor protecting it hull.

Variants

• Magi (UCSV) - This is a field modification of the base Magi vehicle in service of the Word of Blake. The vehicle's engine is swaped out for a Light variant. While its lasers weaponry remains the same, its front mounted machine guns have been doubled to four and bundle into a Machine Gun Array. The ammunition is increased to three tons. The most significate modification includes installation of a six-ton Infantry bay in rear of the vehicle. Also, enhance targeting and spotting, a C3i Computer is installed as well.
