Matthius Sunner was the commanding officer of the Ninth Marik Militia as of 3085. [1]

Force Commander Sunner, serving with the Ninth Marik Militia, was stationed on Carbonis in 3059.[2] Tasked with keeping a check on the behavior of his commander Colonel Theodore Kauk, Force Commander Sunner had assumed many of Colonel Kauk's duties and, by 3067, was effectively the commanding officer of the Ninth Marik Militia.[3] With the dissolution of the Free Worlds League during the Jihad, now-Colonel Sunner was officially the head of the Ninth Marik by 3085, newly in service with the Rim Commonality Guard and stationed on Negushevo.[1]
