Overview[edit]
The Maxell PL-10 Laser Rifle is a recent addition to the LAAF, an organization long devoid of personal energy weapons for its soldiers. Maxel Metals won the contract to produce a laser rifle for the Lyrans in 3059, and came up with the PL-10 shortly thereafter. Though the rifle is powerful enough to penetrate Elemental armor, it sacrifices range to achieve these results.[1]
