System Description

The Mezzana system was located near the Rijeka and Chiavenna systems.[1]

System HIstory

The Mezzana system was colonized at some point during the Star League era.[2][3]

After the "Birthday Proclamations" of 2755, Mezzana was host to a garrison of Star League Defense Force soldiers.[34]

The Jihad

During the Jihad, the Democracy Now separatist movement agitated for a new democratic state to be formed based around areas of the Alarion Province of the Lyran Alliance. The Democracy Now movement gained momentum in 3071, and in August that year Mezzana experienced pro-Democracy Now demonstrations.[35][36]
