Michael Steiner - (Born 2447 - Died 2476)[1] - Age of War era House Steiner nobleman, military officer, and the 4th Archon of the Lyran Commonwealth.

Character History
Early Life & Military Career
Elder son of Alistair Marsden Steiner, Michael was the Heir-apparent to the throne. Unlike his father, when Michael joined the Lyran Commonwealth Armed Forces he did not mysteriously re-assigned to new post when he was suppose to go into combat. He participated in the 5 year long Long March Offensive, where he was part of the tasks forces attacking both the Draconis Combine and the Free Worlds League.[2] However, his military career was cut short when he was recalled to Tharkad, with word of his father apparent assassination in June, 2467.[3]

In fighting among political parties plague Lyran politics which allowed Archon's foes finally catchup with arms race of BattleMechs. By 2463, Lyran forces now facing, opponents with their own Battletechs caused Michael's forces give pause as their enemies were setting up to re-take worlds lost in Commonwealth's Long March Offensive.
