The Millungera system was home to at least one inhabited world and as of June 3152 was located within the Duchy of Tamarind-Abbey province in the Free Worlds League.[2]

Star League Era

During the Star League era, both Millungera and the nearby Saltillo system were jointly administered by the Free Worlds League and the Star League, with the intention on keeping an eye on the traffic moving in and out of the region known as the Bolan Thumb. In 2783 the Free Worlds League annexed Millungera completely, and the next year the League annexed Saltillo; these annexations were cited as signs of "naked aggression" on the part of the Free Worlds League by the Lyran Commonwealth in 2785 when the Commonwealth launched a preemptive strike on Bolan.[6]

Dark Age

During Operation HAMMERFALL Millungera was taken by the Lyran Commonwealth in August-September 3137, with the Lyrans hoping that its HPG could be restored using the same solution that had worked on Wyatt. The Millungera Militia proved unable to prevent the conquest of their homeworld and the planet served as a headquarters for Vedet Brewer and the LCAF throughout the remainder of the year.[31] [28] [32] Ultimately the hope of restoring Millungera's HPG proved futile as Tucker Harwell was unable to replicate his earlier success.[33]

After joining the reunited Free Worlds League, the Duchy of Tamarind-Abbey was able to reclaim Millungera by 3145.[29]
