The Mist Stalker was a DropShip of unspecified type, implicitly a cargo vessel. As of 24 August 3060 it sat at the Lootera spaceport on Huntress. It was one of the ships on which the future Fidelis wanted to leave Huntress, but the Mist Stalker reported unspecified problems with their engines as the fleet prepared to lift off. Determined to leave no ship behind, Baldur ordered engineering teams from two other vessels to the Mist Stalker for assistance.[1] It was not mentioned if the Mist Stalker could overcome their engine troubles in time, but at the same time there is no indication that any ship was left behind.
Although it is not explicitly mentioned, context strongly suggests that the Mist Stalker was one of the DropShips operated by the merchant caste of the former Clan Smoke Jaguar; the entire merchant DropShip fleet had been grounded by the re-formed Star League at the time following their conquest of Huntress and was commandeered by the future Fidelis.
