The Monymusk was an Invader-class JumpShip owned and operated by the 1st Kearny Highlanders, a regiment within the Northwind Highlanders; the Monymusk and her sister ships, the Jacoby and the King's Own, were three of the eight JumpShips that made up the integrated transport fleet responsible for moving the entire combined regiment in 3067.

As a part of the First Kearny Fleet, the Monymusk was under the overall command of Admiral Paul Doohan.
