The New Damascus system was home to at least one habitable world, New Damascus VIII, and as at 3145 was located in the Chirikof Operational Area of the Crucis March within the Federated Suns.[2][3]

System Description
The New Damascus system is located near the Dunkerque and Nogales systems[4] and consists of a class K9V primary orbited by at least eight worlds. During the thirty-first century a recharge station was in place at the system nadir jump point.[1]
System History
The New Damascus system was colonised during the First Exodus from Terra.[5]
New Damascus VIII

The Jihad
In addition to being home to Hurricane Defense, a manufacturer of weapons and various kinds of ammunition, New Damascus was one of two main logistical centers within the Remagen Combat Region (also refered to as the Nunivak Combat Region).[1] Hurricane industries was heavily damaged during the Jihad, losing ninety percent of its staff and taking a commensurate level of damage.[6]
