Noorzad ibn Saud was a MechWarrior from the Draconis Combine and a later Arena Gladiator in the early to mid 31st century.[2]

History[edit]

Noorzad ibn Saud served as a Chu-i within the Arkab Legion of the DCMS. Noorzad would survive a failed raid on Ruchbah, but would become stranded on Westerhand. Once there, he was one of the pilots to enter in the arenas as a gladiator as a member of the Ikhwan Stables in an attempt to earn enough money to return home.[2]

Noorzad only entered into the arenas under orders from the stablemaster and despised the games and all the so-called warriors who fought in them. Though he owned the most powerful 'Mech in his stable, it was the one which saw the least action because he does not allow any other gladiators to use it. The rest of his stable was quite unhappy with this, but Noorzad did not care.[3]

In 3042, Noorzad ibn Saud participated in the challenge against the Iron Knights on the continent of Garringer continent to avenge his stablemaster's death.[2]

The Iron Knights won the fight thanks to the full-scale battles they were still used to. They destroyed the six 'Mechs belonging to Ikhwan Stables, but they did not look much the winners, losing several MechWarriors, their commanding officer among them. Only MechWarrior Rukaya survived from Ikhwan Stables, and she was castigated from the stable barely two hours after returning to Victory City.[4]

Noorzad died during the fight against the Iron Knights.[4]

BattleMechs[edit]

Noorzad ibn Saud piloted a Warhammer BattleMech.[2]
