Offerman Atomics Limited was a builder of fission power plants within the Federated Suns during the Star League era.[1]
Overview
Offerman Atomics Limited was located on the planet Offerman, a world rich in radioactive materials. The company was the second largest employer on world, after the local strip mining company, and produced civilian grade fission power plants for the less developed worlds of the Davion Outback. Presumably, fission power plants were easier to maintain on these poorer worlds when in comparison to the less radioactive, but more expensive fusion power plants.[2]
No information currently exists that shows Offerman Atomics Limited as operating after the fall of the Star League.
