Star Colonel Omar Hawker was aide to Khan Alaric Ward, in his capacity as the commander of Beta Galaxy, and Bloodnamed warrior of the Hawker Bloodhouse from at least 3145 to 3151.[1][2]

During the Battle of Terra in 3151, Hawker fought near Anchorage in Alaska, against Hansen's Roughriders. Believing themselves cut off from Alaric Ward and facing fierce resistance from the storied mercenary unit, Hawker issued a stirring rallying cry, which inspired Beta Galaxy to push the Roughriders into retreat. Only saved from Beta's charge by the intervention of the Gray Gunny Lancers, the Roughriders eventually retreated, after the Lancers CO Evan Blackford was defeated in a duel by an incognito Alaric Ward.[2]
