Overview
The Omega Galaxy was a second-line military formation which was part of the touman of Clan Smoke Jaguar.[1]
History
Operation Bulldog
In 3059, the Omega had been deployed in the Smoke Jaguar's Occupation Zone, garrisoning three worlds.
The 151st Garrison Cluster on Virentofta, caught in the second Wave of the offensive, was utterly destroyed by the task force consisting of 1st Federated Suns Armored Cavalry, Comstar's 31st Division, and mercenary regiments of the Northwind Hussars & Stirling's Fusiliers.
The Galaxy's 27th Garrison Cluster, were committed to the ill fated Counter attack. It assaulted world of Lonaconing in July facing the 15th Lyran Guards RCT which had been garrisoning the planet. The 27th Garrison's commanding officer, used diversionary & feint tactics against the Guards. However, these actions prevented the Cluster from delivering substantial damage while being whittled away itself. On August 15th the Cluster received recall orders. [2] The Galaxy Command Trinary pulled off Jeronimo at the same time.[3] Lacking sufficient transport assets the 10th Jaguar Regulars remained on Jeronimo; facing four elite regiments during Wave Four they fought to the last. [4]
