Optical-Fiber Remote Scanner

Description

An Optical-Fiber Remote Scanner is a surveillance device used in the viewing of remote areas and objects. It consists of a fiber-optic line fitted with a tiny lens at one end enclosed within a twenty centimeter long, four centimeter thick flexible tube, which retracts into a black fist-sized box with a small knob on one face. The lens can be poked through very small openings while the knob enables the user to aim it, allowing them to view objects and areas normally obscured from sight. For an added cost, some models are sold with an integral Micro-Camcorder, or can be plugged into a Rangefinder Binocular or Video Camera, to record images for later viewing.[1]
