Star League Era

The Third Lyran Guards were in place on the Black Rock continent on Orkney in 2765, a desolate punishment posting assigned to them by the Lyran Commonwealth Armed Forces High Command as a consequence of the regiment deciding to "bolster relations" with a Canopian pleasure circus. Also present were a special medical team and the LIC, working through the repercussions of the Third's Canopian encounter.[1]

The Jihad

Clan Wolf used the attacks on the Lyran Alliance launched by Clan Jade Falcon during the Jihad to launch their own series of planetary conquests, typically shadowing the Jade Falcon advance. A wave of attacks during the first week of October 3069 saw the Wolves capture Orkney, along with Domain, Jabuka, La Grave and Rasalgethi.[14]
