History

The Osaka was a DropShip of unspecified type in service to the Draconis Combine. At the end of July 3034, it brought elements of the 2nd Sword of Light regiment to Predlitz but was heavily damaged by Ronin forces in the battle at Kalitz spaceport.

According to the apocryphal German-only scenario book Ronin!, which is summarized in the fully canonical Historical: Brush Wars, the Osaka was a Union-class vessel carrying 3rd company, 2nd battalion of the 2nd Sword of Light regiment (The Steel Dragon). It broke through the Ronin blockade of Predlitz on 28 July 3034, destroying two Sholagar fighters in the process. It was crippled on the ground by bombing runs from Ronin aerospace fighters, but not destroyed.
