History

Star League Era

All of the Concordat-class frigates to be produced were launched before the end of the Reunification War.[1] A number survived the War, despite the conquest of the various Periphery nations by the Star League Defense Force; seven of these vessels were still actively serving in either the Magistracy of Canopus or Taurian Concordat navies during the closing years of the Star League.[2]

One of the seven Concordats still in service was the TCS Parilicium;[3] one of six Concordat-class frigates within the Taurian navy as of April 2765,[2] the Parilicium and two of her sister ships, the TCS Marantha Calderon and TCS Parin, were deployed in support of II Corps of the Taurian Defense Force. II Corps was deployed on the border of the Federated Suns, and the Parilicium and her sister ships had been assigned to assist the three active regiments of II Corps in deploying rapidly as needed. Each of the three ships was assigned in support of a particular regiment; the Parilicium was supporting the Hyades Cavalry at the time.[3]

Periphery Uprising

With the exception of the Parin, the Parilicium and her sister ships were casualties of the Periphery Uprising, which saw the Taurian Concordat WarShip fleet destroyed by the Star League Defense Force.[4]

Notes

  • The destruction of the Periphery WarShip fleets during the uprising was noted by the author of First Succession War (sourcebook) on the Catalyst forums and confirmed by a BattleTech Developer, although not in the Ask The Writers or Ask the Lead Developer forum, so this note is not definitive until confirmed elsewhere:
Yup. Only one WarShip operational in ALL of the Periphery. And it was a Concordat boat.

You're welcome.

Beat me to it.

Uprising losses. Pretty much all periphery fleets were annihilated by the SLDF.

  • Given the lack of any new WarShips apparently being constructed between the end of the Periphery Uprising in 2766 and the end of the First Succession War in 2821 it is likely, but not certain, that the Periphery nations had also lost the ability to manufacture new WarShips through the destruction or crippling of the relevant shipyards.
