Piers Ballantine was a Captain in the Death Commandos.[1]
History[edit]
Ballantine transferred to the Death Commandos from Kincade's Rangers in 3020. Having grown tired of his Stinger he sought to claim a better alternative as salvage. While on Redfield-possibly in 3025-he spotted a Catapult among the AFFS forces that had previously belonged to the Confederation. After outmaneuvering and wearing down the enemy MechWarrior, Ballantine claimed the BattleMech as his own.[1]
